Musician
Jonathan is a musician- primarily a bass player- who grew up in Nebraska and now lives in LA. He has played with many acts including Hella, The Shins, The Sound Of Animals Fighting, Norah Jones, Cigar, Broken Bells, Mark Lanegan, earthlings?, The Flying Luttenbachers, Nels Cline, Le Butcherettes, Ruins, Joan Of Arc, Linda Perry, Masters Of Reality, Anywhere, Zach Hill, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Sweethead, Eva Gardner, RX Bandits and Juliette Lewis among many more. His band Dot Hacker's first album was the subject of an episode of That Record Got Me High, an honor indeed! Recently Jonathan released his first solo album, a collection of free improvisations titled "Conditional Gratitude (For Mortals And Machines)" on the Handmade Birds label (and on Bandcamp).
